Dr. Lee is a board certified occupational medicine physician with nearly 8 years of professional experience in occupational medicine which includes serving as an active duty Navy physician as well as a physician in private practice settings.

She completed her residency in occupational medicine at the University of CA, Irvine graduating as the chief resident. She. has also earned an MS (master of science in environmental health sciences with a focus in toxicology) at the University of CA, Irvine. Her other degrees include an MPH (master in public health) from the University of Wisconsin, an MD from the Medical College of Georgia, and a BS (bachelor in science) from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Tina is nationally certified physician assistant specialized in occupational medicine. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with an emphasis in molecular biology. She then earned Masters of Science degree in physician assistant studies from Western University of Health Science.

Her professional interests include rheumatology, autoimmune disorders and occupational medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician assistants and is certified in advanced cardiac life support.

Originally from Abadan Iran, Dr. Firooz emigrated to the United States in 1956, and received a BSE in Electro Mechanics. He had a distinguished career working for NASA as a subcontractor designing micro-miniature relay switches used in the Apollo space craft, which was used for the successful Moon landing on July 29, 1969. For his work, he was awarded the Apollo Acknowledgement Award.

In 1970, he obtained a degree in Physical Therapy and began working as an independent practicioner, later opening offices in West Covina, Culver City, and Fountain Valley. To complement his work as a pain practitioner, he obtained degrees in Acupuncture and a Doctorate Degree in Oriental Medicine.

In 1997, Dr. Firooz joined Akeso, and has worked in both the Irvine and Huntington Beach clinics for the past 23 years.

Dr. Julie Holt has practiced Physical Therapy for over 25 years. She obtained her Doctorate in Science from Loma Linda University, CA in 2000. Prior to this, she received her Bachelors’ Degree in Physiology from Oklahoma State University, a second Bachelors’ degree in Biology with a Physical Therapy tract from Barry University in Florida, and a Masters’ in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University, CA.

Dr. Holt received additional training in Strength and Conditioning as well as lower quarter biomechanics. She participated in Athletic Training internships with the US World Cup Soccer team, and other local high school and college sports teams. Dr. Holt also volunteered with USA Wrestling.

In the past decade, she has also incorporated Health and Wellness concepts into her practice. After receiving training with the Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC), she became a Certified Professional Coach in 2016. She is also currently studying Functional Medicine with the Institute of Functional Medicine Coaching Academy (IFMCA).

Dr. Holt has been very active in humanitarian work since 2007 including assisting underserved populations in the United States as well as in Rwanda, Africa.

Papan Seth, DC has been practicing as a Doctor of Chiropractic for 23 years and has been providing Chiropractic care within the Physical Medicine branch of Procare for 23 years and is a part of the multi-disciplinary practice providing comprehensive Occupational Medicine care.

A built-in home exercise plan begins on the initial visit and its importance stays central throughout Dr. Seth's care. He educates injured workers about their injury and treatment plan under the direction of Akeso’s Medical Director’s in order to advance their recovery.
