Emergency Medicine Physician
Paul E. Christensen, MD, MRO, is a skilled physician at our occupational medicine practice in Santa Maria, California. Dr. Christensen is passionate about making a difference in the medical community and the lives of his patients.
In 1992, Dr. Christensen received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine, and he has practiced as an emergency medicine physician since 1994. He practiced in Minnesota from 1994-1999 and since 1999 has practiced in the San Luis Obispo area.
Over the years, he has held numerous leadership positions in hospitals, including Medical Director and Chief of Staff. He is also active in many local medical committees and boards, where he has held positions such as President of Board of Directors.
Eric Greenberg, MD, MRO, FACEP
Emergency Medicine Physician
Dr. Greenberg is an active and permanent member of the Central Coast Community. He has been practicing emergency medicine on the Central Coast since 1998. He attended UCSD and double majored in biology and philosophy. He went on to McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, where he obtained MDCM degrees.
Then, Dr. Greenberg completed his residency training in emergency medicine at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Upon graduation, he took his first job in an emergency department here on the Central Coast.
As a surfer, mountain biker, and water-man, it was love at first sight. His primary interests include fitness, wellness, and providing exceptional medical care.
Paul Young, MD, MRO, FACEP
Emergency Medicine Physician
Dr. Young has been practicing emergency medicine full-time since 1995 and has been actively involved in the Central Coast medical community since 2008. He attended the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), where he double-majored in physiology and religious studies. After graduating from USC Medical School, he completed his emergency medicine residency at The Ohio State University.
Dr. Young was the CEO of his own medical group prior to moving to the Central Coast, where he has remained active in many hospital leadership committees. He has a special interest in Integrative Medicine and completed a two-year fellowship with Dr. Andrew Weil at the University of Arizona.
Outside of the office, Dr. Young enjoys leading an active lifestyle that consists of biking, surfing, and running around after his three kids, centered by a regular yoga practice.
